Manage BACKUPs for the dataset published

Hi team, as per the suggestion of Ms consultants I'm posting this idea: the possiblity to manage backup/restore of a dataset into wrkspaces.

The scenario is that we need to retrieve and oder version of a certain "dataset" after it has been overwritten by an updated version.

In case of wrongly overriding it in fact tehre is no way to restore a old one unless an offline copy is retained.

thanks!

If you have published the Power BI file using Workspace onedrive, it is possible to maintain history of the Power BI file.

Hi, I understood taht this is depending on the users decision to use OneDrive or not to store the "Local" copy of the PBIx. This is an acceptable solution but implies the end user to be aware of backup practises since depends on his own will to use a "onedrive synchronized" folder or not.

Hi thanks I will check with our internal IT as we are not allowed to create new workspacesa as end users.
