Helper IMS Team - Power BI Data Dashboard
Our Dept has a Team created. Each person has access to the Team and then each channel they should have access to. There are MS Excel files stored under each channel. These MS Excel files are loaded into Power BI where we have created a Dashboard. Myself and the other owner can access the Dashboard but the Members cannot. They get a window that "Request Access - Let's get you permission to view the app." They click OK and the request goes somewhere but we don't know where. Again - all the members have access to each channel.

They also need to have access to the report/workspace/app/dashboard (whatever level you are sharing). That part comes from Power BI. As for when a request for access is made, that request is sent in an email to the owner of the report. And, to actaully see the report the user has to have a Pro license (and/or been given access via Premium).
