MS FABRIC : Create a short cut with On Premises MS SQL AND GateWay

Hi thk for the link.

But it's not really help me.

The article give a link " You can even create shortcuts to on-premises or network-restricted locations"

to an other article.

In the article we can read :

"With OneLake Shortcuts, you can create virtual references to bring together data from a variety sources across clouds, regions, systems, and domains – all with no data movement or duplication. By using a Fabric on-premises data gateway (OPDG), you can now also create shortcuts to on-premises data sources, such as S3 compatible storage hosted on-premises. With this feature, you can also create shortcuts to other network-restricted data sources, such as Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage buckets configured behind a firewall or Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)."

I see any where example with a MS SQL Server Data Base that is not in the cloud

    Thx for the second link. 

    I have me anwser i think 

    • Shortcuts – I’ve already written about Shortcuts here. I honestly consider Shortcuts one of the greatest features in the entire Fabric ecosystem. However, there is (still) no option to create shortcuts to SQL Server data

    It's seem not be possible to make a short cut with mssql data base in on premises 

     

    My goal is to try to do the equivalent to a direct query with a specific table.
