Load large data from oracle using parameters and allowing the end user to change parameters in PBI

Hi,

We are using Oracle as the data source and pulling large volumes of data using import mode(as the data columns got calculations we can't use direct query).

we want to filter out the data using parameters before loading it, and we were able to do using parameters. However, our client wants us to provide their end users with an option of changing the parameter values in the Powerbi service. We found an option using PowerApp, but at this point in time we can't use it because of licensing costs.

Can someone please suggest any workaround for achieving this requirement?

Thanks in advance.

  • What if two or more  of their end users provide conflicting parameters at the same time?

Might be easier to give workspace access to one of their users so they can change the service parameters.
