Hi,
I am experiencing issues with Power BI. Everything starts when I try to publish a report from Power BI Desktop to Power BI Service within “My Workspace”. The publication itself works fine, but the problem arises with the credentials.
When attempting to schedule a refresh, I receive the following error regarding the credentials:
Failed to update data source credentials: An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'One or more errors occurred.
Unable to update connection credentials. Unable to connect to the data source. Either the data source is inaccessible, a connection timeout occurred, or the data source credentials are invalid. Please verify the data source configuration and contact a data source administrator to troubleshoot this issue.

Contact Microsoft support and include the information below in your ticket. Error code: DMTS_DatasourceHasNoCredentialError Connection error: Connection has no credentials Cluster URI: https://api.powerbi.com Time: Wed Sep 04 2024 11:45:08 GMT-0300 (Horário Padrão de Brasília)
As you can see in the images, I have already cleared and re-entered the credentials in the desktop version. I am using the same credentials that I use for the database (I edited them the same way in the desktop version, and it works fine there; I can update and connect without issues, ah and only the basic authentication is avaiable on service).
In the gateway section, it appears to be “correct” (it shows green). However, comparing with other cases from the forum, it seems that I might be required to have a specific gateway for the dataset. I still don’t understand why this would be related to the password. I request assistance… please let me know if you need more information to solve this case.

Looks like your data source (MySQL) is considered "on-Premise" (not in the Azure cloud). You need an On-premise gateway that has the MySQL drivers installed and that can see the database. Then you need to create a connection on that gateway, authenticate with valid credentials, and finally you can map your semantic model to that gateway .
How i can do this? I do this by where? please help me
