Morning all,
I have a report that I published to the service over 8 weeks ago. Never had an issue and my scheduled refresh appears to fail now (been going on for like a week). It's a direct query to a Oracle database. I can refresh the data on my desktop version, but the service to refresh keeps failing and I'm unsure why.
Any ideas or next steps?
Here is the message I get:
Last refresh failed: Tue May 29 2018 07:46:34 GMT-0400 (Eastern Daylight Time)
Cancellation occurred when sending or receiving a request.

Hi @lawsona1
There is probably an issue with your datas. If there is a problem of data quality, this will raise this problem
For example if you have a data column and that PowerBI encounter blank in it, it could be one of the problem
Else you can go there : https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/

Thanks for the idea, but I'm a tad bit skeptical that is the issue, as it refreshes fine in the desktop version and has been for 6-8 weeks.
While I can def troublreshoot the data portion further, is there a wy to narrow down the issue vs. reviewing 12 different SQL queries and hoping to stumble upon an issue, espeically as it refreshes fine in the local copy?
HI @lawsona1,
How many records your database stored? If it stored huge amount records, I think it may due to refresh timeout so gateway refresh request canceled.
