Will the performance in Acumatica be affected by refreshing Power BI reports and dashboards? Would one need to have incremental refresh on the reports accessing data from Acumatica?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @SueM ,
The performance in Acumatica may be affected by refreshing Power BI reports and dashboards depending on the size and complexity of your data sources and queries. You can optimize the performance by using Acumatica Generic Inquiries to expose only the data you need via OData.
Incremental refresh is recommended for large data sets to minimize the impact on performance. Incremental refresh allows you to refresh only the data that has changed since the last refresh, rather than refreshing the entire data set. This can significantly reduce the amount of data that needs to be processed and can improve the performance of reports and dashboards.
