Integration with Dynamics CRM

Hi,

 

I've embeded powerbi tiles in a Dynamics CRM dahsboard using the CRM native feature. It appeirs as expected in all broswer except for Internet Explorer 11 where it displays a message in the tile asking to sign in into powerbi. When I try to do so it tellls me that I can't autenticate me.

 

I've added CRM and PowerBI in the trusted sites but it doesn't help.

 

Any clues ?

Hi @sboulanger,

 

Currently, we can see the issue is not related to the Power BI. In my opinion, maybe the Dynamics CRM forum or IE 11 forum  are more proper. I would suggest you post a thread there to get better suggestions.

Not sure whether you found a solution for this yourself (I haven't found another post regarding this in any other forums so posting it here)

 

If you add the following trusted sites as well it seems to work:

 

https://*.microsoftonline.com

https://*.windows.net/

Hi @sboulanger,

 

Based on my test in IE 11, when click Power BI Tile in Dynamics CRM Online 2016, it will popout the Power BI dashboard and Tile with the same account. In your scenario, please sign in Dynamics CRM Online in IE 11, then create a new tab also in Power BI Service with the same account. Then click the Power BI Tile to see if dashboards appear.

 

If issue persists, as the issue is more related to Dynamics CRM, I would suggest you post a thread in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Forum.

Thank you for the answer. I've tried it but it don't fix it.

 

I tried it with another computer and it works as intended with IE11. I'm wondering if it could be related to security settings...

@sboulanger Please close IE 11 browser, and open it in Start InPrivate Browsing to check if issue persists.

I've just tried it and it works on my laptop in-private mode.

 

However, on my colleague laptop, in private mode it doesn't seems to work at all.
