Individual user unable to access a specific PowerBI report
- 4 years ago
Solved by updating SSAS server and PowerBI gateway. Very strange one user was affected. But I'm happy it's resovled!
Hi christielu ,
You can check whether the user role and permissions are given in the SSAS data source. If you already have, you can delete the database role and recreate it.

Hi Liu! Thank you for your response. Unfortunately it didn't work. We gave her admin permission so she should have access to all of our databases. I removed then added her again. She still is not able to view that specific datasource via PowerBI report. 😞 However, she is able to access the excel workbook I created using the same ssas connection. So it makes me think it's something in PowerBI setting...
