Hi guys,
When I set my table with incremental refresh + data detect, do I need to do anything with the schedule refresh?
What if I only set up incremental refresh without data detect?
Thank you!

Hi @dmkblesser ,
If I am understanding the question correctly, then the answer is yes, you have to set up the refresh schedule. The incremental refresh setting is WHAT and WHAT RANGE to refresh. The scheduled refresh is for WHEN to run. So, yes, you need to set up the Scheduled Refresh to execute the Incremental Refresh. Or, of course, you can run it manually instead to kick off the Incremental Refresh.
As for the "Data Detect" part, that is an optional setting. This is to further "restrict" or "refine" the incrmental refresh. For example, you might set Data Detect for only the last 3 months, knowing that the data is never changed for data older than 3 months. Therefore, the incremental refresh won't check everything for all time, but rather for the last 3 months only.
