Incremental Refresh Data Changes Not Creation

I have created a dataflow connecting to Salesforce data. Here are the steps I have done and facing issues with incremental refresh dealing with changes to the data not the creation of new records. I have been talking to Power BI/Microsoft people, and they are saying the changes can not be brought on records created previously. This doesn't sound right though.

  1. I created the PBI flow and PBI file that connects to it and displays the name of an Account. The Dataflow is only brining that Account.
  2. Incremental Refresh is set as follows. I refreshed the data at this point and got the name as “Sang Test Institute Test2” reflected in PowerBI file.sang_moneta_4-1660765232350.jpeg

  3. I changed the name after the refresh and here is the record in SF now. Time is in UTC:sang_moneta_3-1660765214599.jpeg

  4. Now no matter how many times I refresh the dataflow and PBI file I am not getting the change in PBI.

Hi @Anonymous

I personally have not had a good experience with the Detect data changes.

What I do is if the data is is always in a certain window I just set the refresh the data from the past N number of days. As in your screenshot this is 7 days. I would maybe set it to a longer period?
