Include different companies to same tenant
Hi,
I have different companies (10 in total). Can I create one PowerBi tenant as an "admin" and then add a workspace + dataset(s) for each of the 10 companies in that admin tenant?
The idea is that I do not need to create powerbi users for each company but then distribute data models/reports from the admin tenant to each company.
Hi NeedhelpBI
Yes, you can create one Power BI tenant as an "admin" and then add a workspace + dataset(s) for each of the 10 companies in that admin tenant.
However, I’m sorry that you cannot distribute data models/reports from the admin tenant to each company without creating a Power BI user.
If you want to share workspace or datasets with 10 companies, Power BI enables sharing content with external guest users through Azure Active Directory Business-to-Business (Azure AD B2B). By using Azure AD B2B, your organization enables and governs sharing with external users in a central place.
You can invite guest users by planned invites or ad hoc invites. About how to invite guest users, please refer to: Distribute content to external guest users with Azure AD B2B - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
