Importing from One drive

I have saved my excel sheet into oneDrive for business and trying to import the data to Power Bi service to create Dashboards and Schedule Refresh. But i am getting error that my sheet is not in table format and when i try to make my sheet into table...its saying i have to remove autofills...i can't do that. what is the best way to import data from one drive to power bi service?

Thanks,

Pranitha

I would suggest if you have to use the Autofills then to possibly create another sheet, which then is a copy from your first sheet. Then on your copy because it is just the data, you can then create that as a table?

Got it ! is it the same case with Sharepoint too. I mean, if i try to get the data from power Bi service from sharepoint online, it has to be in table format is it? or i have to import the data onto power bi desktop create dashboards, publish it to power bi serrvice. But how can i automated the dasboards ?

Thanks,

Pranitha

I have not tried from SharePoint Online directly into the Power BI Service, but anything that is being imported from an Online source would need a table type of structure so that Power BI knows what to import (when to start and stop with the dataset)
