How to schedule refresh PowerBI dashboard with Excel as Data source

You can refresh it without gateway using the following steps.
Step 1 - You need to open the file in your one drive where it is stored. Go to file->info->copy path as below
Step 2 - After getting this path from here, open your pbix file->get data from the above path.
Step 3 - Publish it workspace. Data Source credential and refresh will be enabled.

Super UserHi powerbidu Since you don’t have permission for a gateway, the best option is to store your Excel file in OneDrive for Business or SharePoint Online. This allows you to schedule a refresh without needing a gateway. In Power BI Service, go to Dataset settings → Scheduled refresh and enable it. Make sure the dataset is connected via the Web connector for it to work.

Hi powerbidu Do you have necessary permission if in OneDrive you would need edit access and proper role for the workspace
