How to reduce QPU Load

We have a real performance and sizing issue  with Power BI Embedded.

After we update our 11 GB Dataset the QPU Load rises to max value for our A5 Tier (150 QPU) and stays there for 40 Minutes (!). 

 

There is no other report or anything else in this workspace.

 

Does anyone have an idea what this might be about?

Is a documentation available what uses QPU and/or how to reduce QPU Load?

Are there documentation on how to optimize PowerBI Reports for less QPU usage?

    Head over to SQLBI.com for oodles of resources on query optimization for DAX (calculated columns in your case) and check the Power Query specific sites for guidance on how to improve the ingestion process.  Both DAX and Power Query have performance analysis and diagnostics options.
