How to export image using PBI Embedded for public (unauthenticated) users
Hello - I need to allow public users to be able to export/download images from a public-facing report.
The client currently has Publish to Web, which has export limitations.
The client is willing to switch to Power BI embedded (using service priniciple to allow for guest users external to the organization). I know this will allow for data to be downloaded, but I'm not sure what the image download options are.
1. Can an external user download an individual image with PBI embedded?
2. Can an external user download a single report page as an image/pdf with PBI embedded?
3. Can an external user download all report pages as an image/pdf with PBI embedded?
Please note that these are external users, visiting a public-facing website. No one will be signing into Power BI service.

Based on your description, Power BI Embedded does not directly support downloading individual images. It supports exporting reports to .png files, but this will include the entire report page, not individual images. When using Power BI Embedded to export individual report pages as images or PDFs.When exporting to .png or .pdf, reports containing multiple pages are compressed into a .zip file. Each file in the .zip represents one report page.
