Advocate IVYeah I saw that page as well. It was weird to me that we had no control over the archiving process. I'm also not too happy about creating additional work for our IT department.
To me it just looks like an option. If a company wants to use Power BI as a full solution rather than an ad hoc tool, then IT would typically want to have their hands on it. This just looks like another step in adding administrative functionality to the tool.
