History of automatic updates errors
Hello rafaelcampos,
You can get notified immediately when a refresh fails:
1. In Power BI Service, go to the dataset > More Options (···) > Settings.
2. In the Scheduled Refresh section, ensure that Keep data updated is turned on.
3. Enable Send refresh failure notifications to dataset owner. You can also manually check the refresh history for a dataset in Power BI Service.
Hope this helps.
This suggestion doesn't attent my demand.
I need to see the entire history. Is that possible ?
Hi rafaelcampos,
Power BI does not store a complete, long-term refresh history due to certain platform limitations. By default, it stores only a limited number of refresh logs, typically covering the most recent refresh attempts for each dataset. Older logs are not retained automatically and cannot be accessed beyond the predefined retention period.
