Help with Amazon Redshift refresh in PBI Service

I am trying to refresh a dataset that includes Amazon Redshift connection. The data is pulled in via Import Mode. I tried editing data source credentials and I tried setting up cloud connection in PBI service. Neither option works and I get the same error message:

  • Data source errorDataSource.Error: ODBC: ERROR [08S01] [Microsoft][Amazon Redshift] (10) Error occurred while trying to connect: [SQLState 08S01] server certificate for "*.csbk73u15x63.us-east-1.redshift.amazonaws.com" does not match host name "analytics.chatmeter.com" . DataSourceKind = AmazonRedshift. DataSourcePath = analytics.chatmeter.com;dev. OdbcErrors = #table({"SQLState", "NativeError", "Message"}, {}). . The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Table: Chatmeter Locations.

Does anybody know what I'm missing? Is it the hostname domain?

We resolved it by adding an on-prem gateway with the same credentials. The Cloud gateway option and basic sign-in did not work.

As the error message say - they certificate doesn't match the hostname. Fix the certificate.
