Grey Vertical Bars exporting to Power Point
Hello,
I'm having an issue with all my reports. When I export the report to Power Point, every report page is converted to an image in the PPT file (as usual) but with a vertical grey bar in both sides.
I been trying changing the page size, backgrounds, …. But its not works.
That issue only happen with all my existing (old) reports, if I create a new one, the export is ok.
Anyone could help me?
Thanks a lot.
Hi Anonymous ,
I just viewed your images from previous reply and i find the below as Grey color:
This is the 2nd image you sent for "2. Original Layout". If you compare the same(Color in wallpaper) to New Report Layout image, you will find it to be white.
Change this to white and i feel your issue should be resolved.
Give a thumbs up if this post helped you in any way and mark this post as solution if it solved your query !!!

Hi Anonymous ,
This is strange. This will happen only when you have background or lines set in the report which you have checked and confirmed that it isn't present.
Try to open the report in incognito and then export to PPT.Also, can you attach image of PPT export slide with vertical lines and its respective page layout in pbix file?
We can try a thing or 2 to see if the issue is resolved, else this seems to be a bug and you can open support ticket with MS as last option. Link

Anand24,
Here you will find the following images:
1. Export of the original report
2. Original Report Page Layout
3. Export of a New Report and pages layout
4 New Report Layout
I've seen some differences in the config of the New Report, so I've took the original report, make a "Save As", change the layout in order to be equal to the New Report, delete all the content, insert only one object and export it, and these is the result:
Thanks a lot!!!
