Anonymous: Thanks for your response. We are unable to get these metrics from O365 logs. I would like to reiterate the problem we are facing here.
Context: I am maintaining a Power BI Enterprise Gateway service in a centralized server. It has many data sources and BI developers develop the Reports. The scheduled refreshes for these reports are being scheduled directly by BI developers.
Issue: My CPU memory usage is shooting up more than 80% between 6 AM and 8 AM almost every day.
Possible Solutions:
- Increase the CPU configuration – Our current CPU has 64 GB RAM and we believe, all other configuration is also sufficient. So, as of now, improving the infrastructure is not the desirable solution for us.
- Make the scheduled Refreshes Staggered – But I do not know what reports and how many reports are being refreshed between 6 AM and 8 AM.
Kindly let us know if there are any other possible alternative solution which we missed.
Requirement: We believe if we get to know the information on “Which reports and how many are being refreshed between 6 AM and 8 AM”, we might be able to improve the CPU performance. Request you to kindly let us know the possibility of getting this information. If possible, where should we look for this information?
