i am pulling data from sharepoint. but forsome reason its failing. the gateway is connected succesfully,

its refreshing int he desktop .

but for some reason its not refreshing online.

any help will be appreciated

Based on the error information you provided, we recommend you to follow the following aspects to troubleshoot.

1.Check if there are any spaces or strange characters in the data and try to remove them if there are any.
2.You can refer to the article above for the steps to convert data in Power Query.
3.Try to republish to SharePoint and refresh.

if there is bad data then i shouldnt refresh in the desktop versio right?

its refreshing fine in desktop

as soon as its on service its not working.

Check your data and to confirm any bad data in your date table, that might be having some additional space or character, once cleaned it will be good.
