Frequent time out issues across workspace

Hi everyone,

We have been experincing serious issues with powerbi reports failing to refresh. About a month ago this was never an issue but since then has been happening almost everyday across our workspace. While we do have a lot of semantic models (50) none of the semantic models are so large that It would be casue for concern. Does anyone have a solution or things to look at that can explain why this is occuring. We use a premium capacity workspace.

Can you Please Check these Points

    • Check the Capacity Metrics App for memory or CPU overload during refresh times.

    • Review refresh schedules to avoid too many models refreshing simultaneously.

    • Ensure data sources aren't timing out or throttling (e.g., SQL, APIs).

    • Use Performance Analyzer or Query Diagnostics to identify bottlenecks in model queries.
