Hi Anonymous,
We sincerely appreciate your inquiry through the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
- The issue arises due to differences in how Power BI manages formatting across the Desktop and Service environments. Applying direct formatting to visuals may cause more discrepancies compared to using report themes. Themes ensure a consistent format that is maintained across different environments.
- Power BI Service renders visuals slightly differently than Power BI Desktop, which may result in minor visual discrepancies, particularly with font sizes, spacing, and the positioning of certain chart elements.
- The Power BI Service might display cached versions of the report, reflecting older formatting. Making a minor edit to the report in the Service and saving it will force a refresh, resolving this issue.
- Please ensure that you are using the latest version of Power BI Desktop. The Power BI Service receives regular updates, and some formatting issues are addressed in these updates.
