File couldn't be created - Error Exporting with live connection

Hi All,

I'm getting an error message when I'm trying to export data from BI with a live connection. All reports & ability to export with live connection we're working two days ago. We've not changed any settings or permissions.

The live connection export works on some tables but not others, it looks like a limit on columns potentially as when I remove some columns it works as there seems to have been this issue in 2022.

Is this a fabric issue that will be resolved or do we need a permanent work around?

Thanks

    Solution Sage

hi Anonymous if you're trying to export from a production workspace that is part of a deployment pipeline, this won't work. Try from the "Test" workspace.

Hi Anonymous , hello pborah, thank you for your prompt reply!

Do you have those measure columns created in the Power BI?

    Quote from Microsoft:

Say you have a Power BI report that's built on a live connection to a data source, and you add other measures to the report in Power BI. If you use the Export with live connection option to export data from a visual in that report, the measures that you added won't be available in the data you export to Excel. Only measures from the data source will be available in the exported data.

And here is a similar issue for your reference:
