Favorite reports from multiple Apps - 'Quick Access' list for specific reports
- 4 months ago
Hi Vivek26 ,
Thanks for checking this.
Currently, there isn’t a supported way to generate a “clean” direct link to an individual report within an App without the navigation pane. When a report link is copied from an App, it will always retain the App context including the left navigation, as this is by design to support the App experience and audience-based access control.
Workarounds you can consider:
Use browser bookmarks for frequently accessed reports (will still open within the App shell)
Create a centralized “Report Hub” (e.g., SharePoint page or a Power BI report with links)
Use direct workspace report links if workspace access can be granted (not applicable in your current setup)At this time, creating a private, per user quick access list for reports across Apps is not natively supported.
Thanks,
Chaithra
Hi Vivek26 ,
Yes, you are correct. We can mark only the app/dashboard as a favorite, not the report. However, I found some interesting workarounds on the same topic.
Thanks
