Hi @pkn7

Unfortunately, Power BI's native export functionality often doesn't preserve conditional formatting, including colors, when exporting to csv/excel.

You can try a work around using, Power BI Tiles add-in for Excel, which allows you to embed Power BI visuals directly into Excel. This might help retain the formatting. How to add Power BI tiles in excel, Please refere this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-dashboard-tiles and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-dashboard-pin-tile-from-excel

Thanks

Hi @pkn7

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

I agree with the solution provided by @suparnababu8 .

Additionally:

  1. Export as PDF or Image Format: If retaining color formatting is essential, consider exporting your matrix as a PDF or saving the visual as an image instead of using CSV or Excel formats.
  2. Use Conditional Formatting in Excel After Export:Once the data is exported to Excel, you can manually apply conditional formatting to recreate the color coding.
