Exporting source data tables from published report

I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to export the data tables associated to the visuals I created for public viewing.  When I scroll over the visuals I only see the filter icon and the focus mode icon, not the ellipsis that asks if you want to export the data.  In the desktop I've gone to the options in the report settings to "allow end users to export summarized data from the power bi service or Power BI Report Server," and in Power BI Service I've gone to the settings to allow end users to export summarized data and underlying data...are there other settings to configure or are publicly published reports not able to export?

  • Hey lmelero ,

unfortunately, it is not possible to export the data that build the visual of a publicly available report (Publish to web).

I recommend creating an idea on ideas.powerbicom or upvote an already existing one.

    Regards,

    Tom

  • Thank you Tom for your quick response.  I'm surprised that it can't be done though.
