I am looking for help regarding the Icon Map v3. As none of the Power BI built-in maps fulfills all our needs in terms of visualization features, we use the Icon Map v3 as my preferred choice when it comes to geo data visualization. However, when I try to export my map to Power Point via “export -> Power Point”, there is no option to export the map as image - only an embedding with an active data link is made available. The data link is no option for me, as I would like to send the pptx to an external party which does not have access to my data.
This is a true showstopper for me as the “normal” PBI maps are very reduced in terms of their feature set and the Icon Map v3 apparently has export limitations.
I would truly appreciate it if you could advise me on how to handle this issue.
Hi, @Anonymous
Based on test, you can try to go through these steps:
...-->Share-->Open in PowerPoint.
Importing Visual Objects Generated by Icon Map v3 into PowerPoint
