Hi RdH_Stipter ,
What is your visual? Now it only allows the export of data from a table or matrix visual to Excel while preserving the formatting of the visual, including number formatting and grouped (merged or unmerged) dimensions.

Thanks for your reply.
I've already checked this setting:- BurningsuitResident Rockstar
HI RdH_Stipter
What are the PBIX settings, in Power BI desktop ? I've a feeling these may beat the Service settings.
in Power BI desktop go to File/Options & settings/Options/Current File/Report Settings.
Hope this helps

Hello,
First of all, you can only test this issue in Power BI Service as this export feature is not available in PBI Desktop (29 Oct 2022).
Make sure in your visual (=table or matrix) properties you enabled header icons (=On!).
It's very subtle and I've only noticed after a end-user send me this issue.
-> When the header icon is off, the visual will also give you a header icon menu with possibility to export data.
HOWEVER it's a different one, you need the real header icon menu to have this feature enabled.
