Export data to a personal excel template

Is there any way we can chose what excel template data exports to from powerBI.  Currently all data exports to the standard Microsoft book with standard formatting and colours.

I have personal templates and a personal default book and sheet (in xlstartup) pre-formatted with my powerBI colours and pivot table formats etc.  It would be really good if exported data could be directed into that default book.  

I am guessing not, especially as personal templates seem to be not a feature of excel web, but worth asking (totally dislike microsoft standard colour schemes and pivot designs).

Years later this is still not a feature.  Competitors have it.  Microsoft product is not compatible with another Microsoft product.

Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently.

You could check the Ideas forum here:
https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/

And if it is not there, then you could submit a new idea to improve the Power BI.

It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Simply cannot believe this isn't a feature in a Microsoft product yet.  Third party products have been doing this for a couple of decades.

It's like Microsoft doesn't want this tool to progress.
