Hi Everyone,
I just found that my excel file exported into .xlsx file from PowerBI services changing the numeric values into "Text" and showing as below. I have so many rows and columns,so I can manually convert them to numbers.
1.Is there any way we can stop PowerBI changing the values into Text if not
2.How we can convert all values to numbers in one go.
Hi @kathraji ,
Sorry for that, but we cannot reproduce your issue on my side. Are you using Live Connection Mode? What kind of export you are using, export summarize data or export underlying data? Does there are any measure used, what is the type of measure's result ?
Best regards,
Hi v-lid-MSFT,
Thanks for the reply. I'm using import mode and I do have a measure that has numeric data.the underlying columns for these measures are decimal type. I'm using both summarized and underlying export but data still showing as text after export completed.
I see measure are of type "Text" and its grayed out I can't change them on desktop.I'm trying to find if I can change them in the desktop if not after expoting is it possible to convert them to number at once.I've around 97456 rows of data and multiple columns so it's difficult to change one by one in excel.
Regards,
Kathraji
