Do you mean you want to connect to excel .pbix file Set refresh schedule right? If so, then you can schedule a refresh directly.
Connecting to on-premises data sources(excel, You have the following options:
- Choose an enterprise data gateway with the required data source definition
- Deploy a personal data gateway
