Error publishing to PBI Service
Hello,i have a VM with SSAS Tabular 2016 and the latest Power BI Desktop, and i'm having problems publishing a report to PowerBI Service.
I've reinstalled the Gateway:
When i try to publish through PBI Desktop, i get an error:
and even if i try to upload the PBIx on the PBI Service, an error also occur:
I don't what's happening. Im working on a VM.
Any idea of what is the problem and how to solve it?
Maybe im missing something basic, but i don't imagine what could it be.

Can you ensure that the name you use to connect to your VM is the same name and database name that you set up when configuring the Gateway in the Power BI Service. Hi Anonymous,
I can reproduce your issue here as I did not add the data source to the gateway. So you should add your data source to the gateway in advance, then you can publish the report to service successfully.
Here we nned to select the gear icon and manage gateway to add data souce. For more details, please check the online document.
Then the report had been published with no issue finnaly.
