Error publishing to PBI Service

    Hi there

    Can you ensure that the name you use to connect to your VM is the same name and database name that you set up when configuring the Gateway in the Power BI Service.

    Hi Anonymous,

     

    I can reproduce your issue here as I did not add the data source to the gateway. So you should add your data source to the gateway in advance, then you can publish the report to service successfully.

     

      

    Here we nned to select the gear icon and manage gateway to add data souce. For more details, please check the online document. 

     

     

    Then the report had been published with no issue finnaly.

    Hi, you are right, i was forgetting of configure the gateway on the PBI Service.
