Has anyone come across an issue where the Desktop version of a dataset refreshes fine but the service version keeps failing?
I've got a dataset that has been refreshing every day for several months and today it has failed.
{"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorCode","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorMessage","detail":{"type":1,"value":"The column 'AuditSubType' of the table wasn't found."}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingHResult","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.Detail","detail":{"type":1,"value":"AuditSubType"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.Reason","detail":{"type":1,"value":"Expression.Error"}}],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table: Audit Individuals.
I've checked.
Thanks
Hi @saj
Are you using an excel file in your dataset and does it have dyanmic column names or something adn you are removing columns in the query?
Hi @nitishsh91 thanks.
No it's SQL but either way the refresh succeeds in Power BI Desktop and fails in the Service (same source data).
