Error message on refresh- Microsoft.Data.Mashup.MashupSecurityException.ReasonPrivacySetting

Hello everyone!

This error is happening to me and my BI team with some datasets on Power Bi Service:

Underlying error message: La información se necesita para combinar los datos

The dataset is currently using this gateway:

as you can see, the gateway brings data from our SQL Server datawarehouse.

The connectios that are used seem to work fine:

"SQL CRM"

"Puerta 20"

"CRM 3"

However, there is a connection called "PowerBi" which i think is referring to the dataflows used in the dataset. There is an error message that says "Cannot be aded to gateway". I am not sure if these messages are related.

I have read some simmilar messages posted by other users and tried some workarounds provided, but i still haven't found any solution.

please help me.

Hi @UTP_user 

The error is because the Privacy settings are different in the different data sources.

I would suggest try setting the privacy settings on all the data sources to be "Organizational"
