Error getting while doing Incremental refresh in Power BI Service

Hello Folks,I'm getting this error while doing Incremental Refresh in Power BI Service.


Data source error:{​​​​​​​"error":{​​​​​​​"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_TimeoutError","pbi.error":{​​​​​​​"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_TimeoutError","parameters":{​​​​​​​}​​​​​​​,"details":[],"exceptionCulprit":1}​​​​​​​}​​​​​​​}​​​​​​​
Data source error:The XML for Analysis request timed out before it was completed. Timeout value: 2007 sec.

Hi @likhithar ,

One thing you could try is setting the Time out parameter on the connection. Try setting this to something larger than 3600, like 7200 for 2 hours or even 36000 for 10 hours.

Default number if you put nothing = 10min

Hi @likhithar 

 

I would suggest changing the timeout settings for your datasource to be longer

 

I know that the PBI Service has a timeout of 2 hours, but if the underlying datasource has got its own timeout settings that will always be executed first.
