Error Installing Data Gateway (personal mode)

Hi, 

 

I am trying to install a data gateway (personal mode) but after opening the .exe file I always get the following error. I am installing the newest version and I have no other data gateway installed nor do I have any according .log files on my PC. 

 

How can I succeed in installing the data gateway?

    Hi dirkkoch 

     

    Can you make sure in your Add/Remove programs that you do not see anything for the Power BI Gateway?

     

    Also make sure that there are no folders names for "On-premises data gateway" in the folders below?

      No, I searched for both "data" or "gateway" but nothing to be found in neither folder.
