Error During Scheduled Refresh

hi JMSNYC - I would agree with lbendlin with regard to the issue being due to support of .xls file.
But can you also go into the data source setting and confirm the credentials are saved as expected. Sometimes this throws up some errors during scheduled refresh. Thanks!

can you install the enterprise gateway and add the data source under "manage gateway"? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-data-sources
