Embeded token with Power Bi Premium

Hi Team,

We use power bi embedded (A3 SKU) for embedding power bi dashboards for our customers. Now we want to purchase power bi premium for our enterprise needs. The question is can we use power bi premium to generate the embed token using the service principle like how we currently does with power bi embedded or do we need to make any changes in the process of how we generate the embed token.

    In the first post you have said Power Bi Premium. The thing about Premium PER User is that it's a preview feature. The Power Bi team is still working on it and validating things, so we don't know the capabilities and differences with the premium capacity. There is no full documnetation about it.

    The FAQ available says it will work in a future.

    Hi. You will be able to continue with your work. Power Bi Premium includes more than just embed. I'll leave an example in a picture:

      Thanks for your reply.

      We have moved one of our workspace from Power BI Embedded SKU to Power BI Premium Per User (trail) capacity and then tried to generate the token. We got the following error "operation returned an invalid status code 'forbidden'".  Are there any setting that we need to make either in azure side or in power bi service side.

      Just an FYI, when we changed the capacity back to embedded everything started to work.
