Edit/Update dataset corresponding to the report published
Hi,
I am looking for ways to edit/update the dataset of the Power BI report that has been shared with me and perform schedule refresh operations on it. Is there a way we can do that?

If you have edit permissions, you should see an option to edit the report in Power BI Desktop.
Click on "Edit" in the ribbon, download the report, and open it in Power BI Desktop.In Power BI Desktop, you can edit the dataset by modifying the data sources, transforming data, or editing the relationships and model.
It's worth noting that you can also contact the owner of the workspace and ask him to turn this option on in the workspace setting.
Then you can edit some functions through the open data model in the semantic model.
(To accomplish this, you must be at least a member, contributor, or admin in the workspace. At the same time, you need to have edit access to the semantic model)
About schedule refresh, you need to have edit access to the semantic model, and if you don't own it, you can take it over via the Take over button, and then you can configure scheduled refreshes.

You have to take ownership of the semantic model, then you can schedule your own refreshes.
You cannot modify semantic model data. You can only refresh them from the data sources in a flush and fill (by partition)
