We are running into issues with the OnHandV2 Table in Finance and Operations showing duplicate or blank data within Power BI. This doesn't always occur but has consistently put into question the validity of our Power BI reports. Is there anything within the connector that could be causing data to not fully sync or cause duplicates?
Each time we end up with duplicate data, if I compare data direct to the OnHand data in that data entity it's an exact duplicate. So for example:
ITEM 123 will show 80 onHand in PBI
ITEM 123 will show 40 onHand in F&O
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
So I misunderstood the method. We are using the desktop version of PBI so no incremental sync is being used. It is doing a full sync each time and we are still running into duplicates with this method.
Any other ideas?
I would look at the filters in your Odata URL to doublecheck that you're pulling what you think you're pulling from F&O, and not more.
Yes. Is there some known issue or limitation to how much data can be processed for incrementals?
A common source of duplicates is an incremental refresh set with >= RangeStart and <= RangeEnd. One of these conditions need to be strict (usually < RangeEnd).
Are you using incremental refresh by any chance?
