Destination Port Power BI Gateway

Hello dear community,

 

I need the following information for setting up the gateway:

 

1. Protocol (Transport protocol, Application protocol)

2. I think it's HTTPS Destination (Hostname / IP address, Destination port)

 

Can someone help me here?

 

I need to add this as a firewall exception because the server otherwise has no access.

    Hi zon11x 

     

    The list of IP addresses that the gateway connects to does change, and can be quite difficult to keep up to date with.

     

    The best advice is to allow an outbound HTTPS request from the Gateway server, that will ensure that it always works.

    hello zon11x ,

    you can see by opening in the start menu on premises data gateway, then in diagnostics and network ports test.
    normally it is https port 443
