Hello Power BI Community,
I am trying to implement deployment pipelines for some of our workspaces. I was able to get them to work for the most part until I tried to deploy changes to a dashboard. I tested a change where I changed the default slicer selections to a visual, and then I pinned the new visual to a dashboard, replacing the old visual; the only difference was the slicer change. I published to the development workspace just fine. The comparison worked as expected, and then I deployed to test all the changes merged fine. The problem starts when you deploy from Test to Production; the comparison tool kept showing me that my dashboard changes were a mismatch; and when I went to look at the production dashboards, the deployment added my new visual under the old one without replacing it. Attached are pictures of the visuals in each of the environments. I'm not sure what is going on, or if this is by design, any help you can provide would be great; thanks!
