Hello everyone,

Is it possible to know the exact date when a report was moved to a workspace?

Thanks,

Hi @julsr  - Power BI does not directly provide a field or log that tracks the exact date when a report was moved to a workspace. However, there are some indirect ways

Go to the Power BI Admin Portal.
1.Navigate to Audit Logs.
2.Use filters to search for actions related to the report in the relevant time period.
3.Download or export the log to analyze the events.
Note: Audit logs are available only if your organization has enabled auditing in Power BI and your admin has granted you access.

Without admin access, finding the exact move date can be challenging.

The methods above depend on prior configurations (e.g., audit logs enabled, linked SharePoint).

Hope this helps.

Hi @julsr ,

Please talk to your power bi tenant admin if they have any audit logs, then they will be able to share it with you.

Thanks,

hi @julsr  Power BI does not natively show the exact date a report was moved to a workspace. However, you can:

  1. Check Audit Logs: Use the Microsoft 365 Compliance Center to search logs for actions related to the report.
  2. Review Metadata: Check the "Modified By" field in the workspace.
  3. Use Third-Party Tools: Some tools provide detailed activity tracking.

Audit logs are the most reliable option if you have admin access.
