Dataset credentials update goes into infinite loading
I had made a report in Power BI desktop with db2 data source and published on Power BI Server.
When i tried to refresh the data in the report or schedule auto refresh for the related dataset, it asks me to re configure the credentials for all the data sources. When i enter valid credentials and click on sign in, the loader goes on spinning indefinitely. Please help.
is this an on prem database? if so it will need a on premise gateway installed to access the data.

if the data is sitting on prem yes. It is not always needed for cloud.
