Dataset Refresh Fails on Server Certificate, but Dataflow Refreshes just fine on Same Server

Trying to figure out if there's a network difference between dataflow refreshes and dataset refreshed. Already checked on expired server certificates.

Based on your issue screenshot and description provided, I think this is a purely connection issue between your dataset gateway credential configuration and your dataflow gateway credential configuration. If the dataflow's gateway credential configuration worked, the dataset using the same configuration/same gateway to the same source should 100% work. 

So for the further troubleshooting plan, please go to the Dataflow gateway configuration setting to first make a screenshot to make sure what gateway and datasource it's using:

You can go to the "Project options" to find the gateway and datasourec you are using, then you should go to the dataset setting, apply the same gateway and datasource mapping to the dataset:

Then you can save the setting and test the dataset refresh again. Thanks!
