Hello,
I'm currently using Power Automate to kick off dataset refreshes automatically based on keywords used in a group chat. With that said, I'm curious about a few things:
The end goal is this: Refresh all data sets in a programmatic way instead of having to go to the PBI Server and refresh when a report breaks. In this day of technology, I'm sure someone out there is doing this the right, efficient way.
No on #1. Scheduled Refresh in the service has very limited settings. You want to use Power Automate for this, as you are.
On #2, you'd need to ask in the Power Automate community. Get Help with Power Automate - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com) There might be a way to read all datasets in via the REST API from workspaces, and then in Power Automate do a loop on each of those.
DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling
