Hi v-zhangti ,
As I mentioned, I am currently using the solutions you provided and they've been working well for the past year. The issue is that the RLS is structured differently in the new Datamart models. For a dataset, I'm restricted to "Column equals value" type statements and can't put a DAX function in as shown in the screenshot below.
I did try to just paste the DAX expression in, but that doesn't work. So as per my original question, is there a timeline to put PBI Desktop-style RLS in place for Datamarts or is there something I'm missing?
This is also crucial to our use cases!
Any update on when we'll be able to use DAX expressions in Datamart security groups like we can in PBI Desktop?
I am also needing guidance on if it is possible to implement dynamic RLS in a datamart as detailed in Configure row-level security with the dynamic method - Learn | Microsoft Docs.
